In honor of National Suicide Prevention Day 2017, Author and Motivator Maranda Evans traveled to the city of Opelousas, Louisiana where her grandmother and ancestors originated as the keynote speaker for "Mental Health Matters", an event put together by the small, loving community of Palmetto.

On July 16, 2017 Author and Motivator Maranda Evans releases her second published book "Renewed Strength: Steps to Becoming A S.U.R.V.I.V.O.R" in honor of her late grandmother Mildred Stoot who passed on July 16, 2016. Maranda gives all glory to God for allowing her to complete and publish her second book, start a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called The Troubled Movement, Inc.

Watch as Maranda Evans, Author, Motivator and Founder of The Troubled Movement, Inc. shares her experiences with family, loss, and the birth of her 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching and encouraging teens, young adults, and victims of abuse and mental illness.
